This a great book about grammar (verb conjugations) and it is hilarious. I really want to request student volunteers to read the book before we review it in the library and then have them read it out loud/act it out for the class.

Oh, Donkey. What a character! Great lead into discussing homonyms.

Speaking as a grammar bug, I'm not sure I agree with the conclusion, but it sure is cute and funny.

Hilarious story that helps kids hear what it sounds like to speak with correct grammar, and also introduce kids to conjugating verbs.

At work, a little boy requested this book. After I found it, he recommended it to me, saying emphatically, "I love this book; it is my favorite. I remember it a lot." He then read it to his younger brother, laughing the whole time. Dear reader, I was SOLD.

This is a really cute, silly book. I don't agree with grammar policing, and some probably see this book encouraging bad grammar, which... misses the point. It's a cautionary tale against grammar policing. Also, I love twisted endings. AND it made that little boy laugh and share it with his younger brother! That makes it worth a read, right?

I understand that this book is a funny take on bad grammar. Too many children are taught to speak like this though so I found it horrifying.

This book had my co-worker and I cackling. So, so funny.

Thanks for the laugh, CeCe Bell.
