I am all for grammar, but this was awful. Disappointing coming from Cece Bell.

Cece Bell, you treasure.

All of the sourpusses who don't like this because it "encourages bad grammar" are weird donkeys and will be eaten for lunch.

Slightly grown up jokes, but good for doing voices!

A really fun book that will reward repeated readings/viewings. Author/illustrator, Cece Bell offers a saucy donkey who drives a uptight yam to his boiling point. This donkey is no dummy; in fact, I think he's pretty clever in the way he turns yam's irritation to his own advantage. I found the ending devilishly and deliciously fun.

This is really cute and the illustrations are great, but the grammar hurts me!! I get that that's the point, but I just can't handle it.

This picture book by the author of El Deafo really would have annoyed me as a kid. I completely despised this type of who's-on-first bs. But the twisted ending is worth it!!

Very silly book about a yam lecturing a donkey about grammar.
