I just didn't feel this one. I didn't get pulled in and felt like I was just watching it all happen from afar. Because of that, I wasn't eager to pick it up and read again when the opportunity arose. Also, at the end, when I should have been reading fast to keep up with the pace and find out what happens next, I was just reading fast to try and finish. This is a good solid book, but not outstanding. I am really surprised too because I enjoy reading about cults, and the Church of the Light Within is absolutely a cult.
