Too much like a hallmark movie. Very unbelievable.
Barbra Davis knows how to tap into the heartstrings. This story took me on a roller coaster of hope, love, hurt, sympathy, and so much more. The writing alone is enough to keep me wanting more but the characters ugh the love the warmth they felt so real. I enjoyed this so much and can’t recommend this book enough!!

A beautiful story, beautifully written. After all the delicious twists and turns--predicted, but enjoyed nonetheless--the end was a bit too cliche and easy. Still a good read.
I cried like a baby
I honestly didn’t think I would cry at the end of this book but omg! I listened to the audiobook and it was amazingly done. The emotion and the accents were just unmatched. And what a beautiful story.

4.5 ⭐️ great book. I don’t recommend listening to it on Audible though, one of the characters has a very thick French accent (on purpose) that was difficult to understand, especially for someone who likes to listen in 1.7 speed lol
