I do not often give a book 5 stars but his book was just so beautiful. About halfway through I was sad that it was going to end. These are characters that will stick with me for a long time. Definitely looking into other books by the same author.

3.5 stars. Enjoyed the story, but it slowed a little in the middle and it seemed to wrap up a little too tidy. But a happy ending is nice to get every now and again.

4.5⭐️Such a good book full of reconciliations and happy endings. I usually don’t go for historical fiction but this one was so good and surprised me so much with how engulfed I was in the book.

This book was entertaining, if a little predictable. I was put off at first by some aspects of the main character, but stuck with the book and found it to be a fun and fairly quick read.

I loved the story and the story telling alot. I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars, but the ending was pretty much the same ending as one of her other books I read, just told differently. I don't know if all her books end this way, where lovers reunite after 40 plus years and suddenly have to make it work. It would be a big coincidence that the 2 books I decided to read by her ended exactly the same. Which is kinda disappointing because I do like her writing. I would give another book by her a shot , I just hope not all her books have this type of ending. Shes really good at keeping suspenseful and makes you want to binge read the story.
