This is the best book I’ve read so far this year. The way Soline and Rory’s stories fused together were perfect. The flashbacks to the war gave such good context. I’m a sucker for a HEA and a plot twist I didn’t see until it was right before my eyes. Highly recommend!

This was my third book to read by Barbara Davis and it didn’t disappoint! The characters were so well developed and you felt like you were right there with them facing what they were and feeling their emotions. What a beautiful story. Looking forward to reading all of her books!
