Finally back in this world and loving it. It’s magical and funny and sweet. I have so many questions and can’t wait to see what happens next and where these characters go.

I love this world so much, and I really like the characters. I think this volume is a little weaker that volume 1 just because so much of the focus here is on setting up plot threads that there isn't much plot. That said, I still really enjoyed it, and I'm eager to pick up volume 3.

“Imagine you’re a dandelion seed … a white fluffy seed drifting on the wind … the wind lifts you up and takes you where you’re meant to grow and bloom.”

Still iffy about Elias and Chise's relationship but it's toning down as we get to know more about Elias from other characters.
Great world building and nice pacing.

This volume leaves off from the first volume of the cat kingdom. We learn more about Chise, and the world setting as a whole.

I really like this artstyle and am interested about this entire dynamic of magic and just the mysterious(maybe more sadistic?) alchemist too.

I love the progression of Chise learning magic and messing up.

I appreciate that Elias trusts Chise to learn and fail but does protect her when she needs it.

Her growing confidence is lovely.

The fae royalty moment cracked me up.
