So much fun. Wish I had read in October, because it’s the perfect mood for spooky season. Mostly stand alone short stories. But also a few excerpts from his books, follow ups featuring characters from previous books and … fanfic, I guess, for lack of a better word. There’s a Dr Who story, a couple of Sherlock Holmes stories, a (honestly, upsetting!) Narnia story and several fairy tale retelling/follow ups. All just wild and wonderful. Loved it.

I'd read ~ 1/3 of the stories in this collection already. Most of the ones that were new to me in this collection were easily 5*s with a handful of exceptions (which I still appreciated, just liked less).

No need to read a book of the best hits of a man who is a sexual predator. Incredibly disappointed that an author I’ve loved since high school turned out to be apart of the problem.

Wonderful, very thorough collection. Id recommend reading it AFTER his other short story collections as it contains many of them.
