I'll start by saying I really like physics books. I had a hard time keeping up with this one. I knew most of the first half of the book, but i couldn't keep up once the author got into theories and observations I hadn't heard before.
I really like that it got into a lot of new topics. I'm just not sure they were explained the best because I spent a lot of time lost. Maybe this is a me problem?

Despite Ms. Mack's attempts to simplify concepts and add humor reading physics about the end of the universe is not an "easy" read. I really did enjoy reading about the growth of physics and the theories behind the end of the universe. It also does give me some comfort to know incredibly talented people like Ms. Mack and the many people she spoke with are out there working on these and maybe more short term solutions. This is a book I will definitely need to read again and likely take notes.
Katie Mack uses snappy writing to effectively communicate all the possible ways we think the universe might end. This is a fantastic book for any cosmology fan.
