Would be interesting to compare this to the actual book (this was a two part radio program). Very interesting to see how the role of the Children changes from part 1 (the women are distressed, the men can’t much be bothered) to part 2 (for the most part the women still love their children while the men want them to die). Really enjoyed how much the dialogue would split off in gendered pairs for a comparison of how everyone discussed what was happening.

Woah this was really interesting and the philosophy student in me was bewildered. A true dissection of humanity and survival of the fittest. I love now John Wyndham writes its just so clever

Pozitivno - Odlična ideja o implementaciji vanzemaljskog života na Zemlji i o sukobu superiornije i inferiornije vrste.

Negativno - razvodnjena priča sa neinspirativnim likovima, gde se tek u poslednjih 20-ak stranica malo ubrzava radnja. Poreklo Dece iz Midviča i par dobrih ideja o poreklu ljudi nisu razrađeni i samo su pomenuti pred kraj knjige.
