I really liked this book but I feel like it could have been 75 pages shorter. The middle felt redundant and it didn’t feel like the growth of the characters kept pace with the number of pages

I loved the narrator for this book! They truly captured Ben & Alexei’s characters so so well. This story is still so beautiful. I own very few physical copies of books, but this re-read solidified why I do own one of this book. Alexei’s journey to self acceptance and grief over the loss of the his relationship with his parents is both heartwarming and heartbreaking in equal measure. Ben’s growth is also beautiful to see him going after what he truly wants with Alexei. These two are just so so precious!

Anita Kelly is officially a must-buy after this!! Their characters are so human, they breathe such life into their settings, and their romances are so sweet yet so spicy! I adored Ben and Lex's journey to themselves and each other on the PCT. I devoured it in a day! Would 100% recommend. Time to go hiking!
