A fast favorite of this year! This book tugged at every one of my heartstrings. I was so motivated to finish it by the end that I took a long lunch break one day from work to make it to the finish line. Highly recommended!

I'm so glad I didn't let my library hold expire on this holy SHIT. Possibly my favourite book of the year so far. Anita Kelly has absolutely cemented themself as an auto-buy author for me.

I'm normally a big hater of the third-act break-up and, as a romance reader, simply live with the unhappy understanding that it's just to be expected now. But this was done so WELL and it made so much SENSE and it actually felt REWARDING at the end.

Also YES I cried on a public bus while I finished reading this book SO WHAT ABOUT IT.

Oh this story was so, so sweet. Alexei’s character was incredibly well done - he felt like the most realistic character I may have ever read. Ben was sweet, too, but Lex stole the show. Representation out the yinyang, to boot.
