Walking the PCT is a fantasy I have, so I was really excited for this story, which was the reason for me starting this series. I liked how the expectations they had for the journey worked out for them but not how they had planned, which felt like real life. I liked the romance and I specially enjoyed that they both were able to find themselves and work on themselves separately, both growing and being better for them individually and not necessarily for the other. I hope to get another glance at them in the next book.

I am really enjoying this series, and Anita’s writing style.

I went into this book a bit skeptical and came out absolutely enamored. Alexei and Ben are flawed yet such wonderfully lovable characters. The imagery is astounding and the author's use of the Pacific Crest Trail as a backdrop to falling in love was
*chefs kiss.* This story is handled with grace and care. I feel as though it will sit with me for some time.
