The Dream lord decides to find closure in a ten thousand year old unrequited love with a woman he punished. Meanwhile hell gets a make-over that leaves it empty. The earth gets some unexpected company.

I enjoyed learning more about the family of the endless. The parts featuring Lucifer were also really interesting.

Ahhhh. I get all the Sandman love now. The story has really found it's place now and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

"I'm the Amazing Cain. If you enjoyed the show, tell your friends. If you didn't, I trust you'll get throat cancer and die without ever again uttering another word. Goodnight."

this quote caught me so off guard; i loved it. ❤️

i also ❤️ nada. i'm glad we were able to see more dedicated to her; i was always curious if she'd ever be revisited after the first book.

i'm happy she got a happy ending that she chose. that's the least she deserves.

“I have no liking for prisons, Master Li. Sometimes I suspect that we build our traps ourselves, then we back into them, pretending amazement the while. That this is the way of life, from the All-Highest down to the meanest creature of creation… But whether this is the case or no, it is still a worthy thing to open cages. It is still a virtuous act to free the imprisoned.”

“I place the kitten in my sleeve once more.
I have saved his life, as he saved mine, and am responsible for him. We cannot evade our responsibilities.
That which is dreamed. Can never be lost, can never be un-dreamed.”

sublime de principio a fin.

Mencanta el humor de estos comics. En primera instancia van todos serios y atemorizantes, y luego se sacan payasadas debajo de la manga, casi todas a nivel gráfico, que los Eternos me bendigan a Neil Gaiman<3
