Every Page is an exquisite work of art. Writing is heavenly; As someone who's sensitive on the dialogs this work more than just pleased me.
The story is as epic as it gets, among the best stories i've ever read if not the best.

The things we do for the RAT.
I've loved every single volume of THE SANDMAN series so far, but this one left me shook. By far, one of my favourite collections. The entire story arc was breathtaking and incredible in every aspect. I loved the story with Hell and its shifting leaders. The inclusion of gods and deities is something I've always loved in Neil Gaiman's work, and their additions here have me hoping they will be returning in later volumes.
There were also deeper looks into the characters of the Sandman and Lucifer, as well as their complex relationship. This was likely my favourite element of this volume, but it really is hard to decide because this is story telling at its finest. A must read.

I think Season of Mists is my favorite story-line thus far from this series. It was really interesting to see the consequences of Lucifer abandoning his position in Hell, and then watching Dream try to figure out what to do next, while each of the different pantheons and ambassadors and such tried to bribe him and convince him to give them the key to Hell. I just finished reading this volume and I still feel as if I'm a bit lost in a dream world; I can't even truly find the proper words to discuss how much I enjoyed this.
Well...I guess on to the next volume.

I don't know man, I jut can't get into this series. Maybe I just don't *get it*.
