Beautifully written novel on becoming a human...

Cozy sci-fi y la esperanza que me da en la humanidad y el futuro es definitivamente mi tipo de sci-fi

I don't know how but Haig summed up the beauty of being a human in one book/ one go. I truly felt like I was reading a book on humans as an alien (which was the targeted audience.) He took something so mundane and turned it into a wonder. It was clever, hilarious, thoughtful, and sweet. I also loved the growth of the main character and how the other characters shaped that growth.

To be a human is awful but because it can be awful, it can also be a wonderful thing. Everything needs both, the good and bad, to make life worth living. Yin yang

Excellent idea and great execution. There were times I had to put it down because it made me think about things a little more than I am used to when reading for pleasure.

Very interesting. Unlike anything else I’ve ever read and not a genre I usually read but I just got it because I got my library card and didn’t know what to get and it was there. Towards the end it gets a little too philosophical and preachy but I like a lot of the characters and the concept as a whole is just really cool. Good ending.

Perhaps the timing was just so, but I wept through a lot of this book. This author was able to take a personal experience and created something remarkably beautiful.
