This book really had me thinking about what it is that makes us all humans.It is a unique take on the "visiting alien" story and done in a very humorous way. I loved the list that was left to the son. That list should be printed out and framed above desks as a reminder about how to live life.

Matt Haig always has a unique take on the stories he writes and I will continue to read his books. I look forward to his next.

For the first fifty pages or so, I thought the book was going to be too quirky-silly for me. Then the characters started developing, and the book ended up being much more than that.
