An entertaining British romp, featuring a smashing pair of lady detectives/part-time government agents! Lady Emily & Flo are more proper & warmhearted than Phryne Fisher, with the sly wit of The Dowager Countess (Downton Abbey) and the inventiveness & sangfroid of Emma Peel (Diana Rigg/The Avengers). Thanks to the author & narrator for making this such an enjoyable listen.

I'm especially glad that . . .
*These are free through Kindle Unlimited & Audible.
*There's a whole series to enjoy now that I discovered them.

Lady Hardcastle and Armstrong are flying

Another great adventure for Lady Hardcastle and Armstrong. This time they will dive into the aviation business.
I loved the story which ending stayed a surprise!

Enjoyable. Not my absolute favorite of this series, but a fun read nonetheless.

A solid edition to the series. I was a little annoyed at how much was focused on Flo rather than her and Emily together. Too much was made of Emily being an older woman.

Please keep these books coming, Kinsey (and publishers)! They’re so stinking good. There aren’t many books where I wish the characters were real people and I could be friends with them, but boy do I love Lady Hardcastle and Flo and the whole gang. It’s a light read, but full of witty and cleaver dialogue, so it’s not not like your brain takes a vacation. This series is also one where the audio narration actually makes it better. Elizabeth Knowelden does such a great job of bringing the characters to life!
