I love this series. Gentle stories, funny, interesting and kind characters, excellent plot twists. The whole series is like a warm hug from an old friend. Plus the vocabulary is expansive and I often have to look a word up! Something I’ve never had to do with one of the Booker prize winners I’ve read! A good book can mean many things and I will not have a bad word said about TE Kinsey. Orange prize for fiction this is not, but I can’t wait for the next one!
Now off to read something worthy. Perhaps.

These books always hit the spot for me. A fun witty series that is almost reassuring to read because you just know it'll end satisfactorily. Cozy mystery is the best way I can describe with dry British humor that I love. Honestly I have a hard time reading 'funny' books like Stephanie Plum and the like because of how forced the humor is. Quick wits and dry delivers are where it's at for me!

This was dragged compared to the others...Flo & Emily didn't get up to their usual fun sleuthing and it was kind of limp. I hope the future books have the fun hijinks that the previous installments had, otherwise I might be done.

I adore this series and am very happy to pick it up again. Two strong heroines, a village full of interesting characters and a great time setting I really enjoy these as easy reading

Not my favourite of this series, but still a fun instalment in the series. This sees the ladies investigating flying and dealing with a village show. A nice way to pass a few hours.
