In the Moon Flower Kingdom, a simple cut could be a death sentence. Prince Keiun, who has modern problems which require more modern solutions, finds himself in dire need of healing when his party is ambushed while on the search for more reliable remedies. The hands of fate deliver him into the arms of a miracle -a teenage doctor who performs a miraculous procedure he's never seen before - and that may be the answer to all his problems. The best remedy for mysteries (Who is this girl? What forces wish the prince an early retirement?) may just be a new adventure, with a sprinkle of romance - doctor's orders.
Ever wondered what an Apothecary Diaries where both the MMC and the FMC are both a little happy-go-lucky (sometimes to their own detriment) would look like? You're going to love "The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom". This novel so far has all of the tropes that make an excellent shojo (YA/women's lit) title - court drama; assassins; handsome princes in disguise; female protagonists with can-do attitudes and the brains to make their dreams come true; animal companions; loving, if exasperated guardians; beautiful artwork; STEM topics (I was quite pleased with the medical presentation so far - the author consulted physicians while writing and went to nursing school herself); and the spritz of a number of love interests equal to or greater than one! Smitten with this introduction and already requesting the next volume from my library!

As other reviews have said this does give a little Apothecary Diaries vibes. The fascination with muscles was weird, but overall beautiful artwork and I'm intrigued to see where this story goes.
It's cute and it gives apothecary diaries vibes but the main character is even cuter but still quirky. I think it delivers its premise very well and while I likely won't continue it for the time being someone else will eat this up.

Jumps right into the story with very little background information given. There’s still a lot to learn about the characters and the world they’re in, so it’s a bit of a confusing start to the series. Hopefully more will be explained in the next volume.

This is an interesting Chinese inspired fantasy manga. It follows a prince who brings two doctors to his kingdom where they are a rarity. Our FMC is an eccentric doctor hence the title, she is fun, obsessed with muscles and quite funny. I think this has a lot going for it, medical drama, political intrigue and great characters. I'm just not sure if its a manga for me but I think a lot of people are going to love this.
