A very difficult read any time, but perhaps even more so in the US in 2025, when many of us are wondering whether it is now, or is it now...or is it now that we should leave?

Beautifully done with a structure that appears to exist to be the antithesis of internet writing, with bold paragraphs that stretch from page to page, its text solid and strong.

Now excuse me while I curl up in a ball to sob.

This book is timeless and shall always be relevant.
I am still reeling from the after effects of reading this book. It is always the innocent that pay the true cost of any war. I hate this world.
