i wanted to like because i thought it was an important message! but not enough plot drivers for me — at points, it felt like it was focused TOO much on the mundane and simplicities of everyday life

I found this book really fast paced and was able to finish it quite quickly considering I was having a busy time, life-wise! Even though I don’t directly relate to the themes in the book I can understand respect them and the characters were well-developed. This is a typical contemporary setting with some themes that I haven’t seen in other books before! Would definitely recommend for females

As a 33 year old who chooses to be child free, I loved the ending and had a chuckle at the many relatable situations.

It's rare to find books that deal with this perspective of womanhood. Olive was very organic approach to female friendships, becoming mothers and equally choosing to be child free.

I really loved this book and story. It felt so real and relatable. My wee niggles include the fact it was too tidily and neatly tied up in the end.
Also, Sian Clifford can be added to my life narrator list.
