 I hate the cheating trope, but I can't!!! But I will be reading the next book of this series.
I am only doing it because I love Ana Huang.

Farrah and Blake, I didn't know this book was going to have a HEA I'm so upset about it!!!

I am reviewing this a couple of months after reading it and I made it through most of the blurb before I remembered what the book is about. It's not a bad book but it seems it is a forgettable book. I enjoy other books by Ana but it seems this series just isn't it for me. 

It's a predictable easy read that holds no intrigue but makes for a good beach read. 

Love that it was set in shanghai though as that is a different location to normal.

It was cute and a good read - I feel like it may have been the spark to help get me out of a REALLY bad slump. I had found the second book free at the table at work so I felt like I had to read the first one in the series - I'm so glad I did. I enjoyed the unique setting and although at times felt a little basic, it was a quick read and Ana Huang never seems to fail me.
