I laughed, I cried, I found out this wonderful author doesn't have any other books, I cried again.

I absolutely adored this story. Sucked me in from the first chapter and kept me there till the end. It was so well thought out and beautifully written. It kept me in its trance up until the very last page (and any questions I still had were also answered until said page).

This book will hurt you, but it will also give a little kiss on the wounds it inflicted on you. And the way he does it is just beautiful.

Gareth, sir, I am very patiently waiting for another book of yours. I'm ready to get hurt again.

This book had such a cool concept and did great with both the characters and storytelling! It balanced aspects of humanity really well through both the graphic, dark parts and slow, wholesome parts. The "good guys" were all loveable and complex, while the "bad guys" were all intriguing, so no matter who the chapter focused on, you want to learn more about them. There were some things that threw me off a bit, or were just a little too disjointed to make sense in my head, but overall, it was fun and much deeper than I originally thought it would be! This book was truly an adventure with stakes, twists, and sweet moments, making it a great debut novel!
