The time travel in this one made my head hurt and I was a bit frustrated at times with different plot choices. I also felt like the pacing both dragged and was rushed simultaneously. However, the magic system was interesting and felt unique even if I didn't always love the rules. But it was really the intrigue surrounding the mystery of how everything ties together in the end that made this one okay for me.

I  didn’t enjoy the first 40%. I think the end wrapped up nicely though.

In the end, so much wasted potential.
