Writer wanted to make the MC cold-blooded and selfish. But it went superficial, making the rest of the story about changing and growing logically incomplete. For a book discussing humanity and life, I can only give it a point of 3.

At first it was hard for me to get into the plot, since this book is about death and so on. I usually don’t like to read books about death etc. but since I read “The house in the cerulean sea” by TJ Klune, I just had to read this book too because I like the authors storytelling and the characters the he portrays.
The book was amazing, well written, good plot. Just loved it ♥️

I loved it🫶 the story was so original and remarkable, the characters were so loveable and Wallace’s growth was a beautiful thing to follow. I really liked the tea shop set and all the side characters🫶🫶
