I’m super happy I was able to get a chance to read this story! Overall was an good quick read. The main characters Aiden and Vanessa are very well matched for each other and you are always rooting for them throughout the story!
I wasn’t a huge fan of how Aiden came across to the reader. IMO he was really hard to like even if you really wanted too. He was just a pretty rude character even after Vanessa shared her feelings about how she was treated. He seemed to finally get the picture in the last few chapters. There is a few spicy moments but this romance is extrememy slow burning. Like super slow. It was broaderline to slow.
This story deals with a lot of trauma both present and future so make sure to check the trigger warnings. The overall story was good but it isn’t a story for everyone just due to the amount of trauma you experience as a reader regarding the characters you meet.
