vagaybond's review against another edition
informative

I listened to this as an audiobook and I have to be honest, it's so dry that I had to go at 2.8× speed at certain points and I still fell asleep. It's AMAZINGLY INFORMATIVE. And I think it should be mandatory reading for anyone who ever touches on this topic. It debunks thoroughly the nonsense that people are indoctrinated with in order to justify the ongoing genocide of Palestinians. I would say honestly that it's also maybe even overly gentle in the way it describes different areas as "depopulated in [year]" of its Indigenous Arab inhabitants. But I assume this is because of publisher censorship or some other issue since the author clearly has a good understanding of Palestine and its history and Israel and its colonization.
This is definitely textbook material and not exactly light reading, but it's necessary.
