In times when there is much cloud of deception over much of Palestines history, this book opens your eyes into the history of Palestine and Palestinian identity in what is, frankly, an uncontested and historically accurate collection of evidence. Debunking century long Zionist propagandised myths about the indigenous population, this book diligently proves, every time, the deep roots of the Palestinian land and established national identity far far before the idea of the Zionist settler colonial enterprise.

This is comprehensive and I wish I had had a paperback copy to reference while listening.
We all know the quote 'History is written by the victors' but I don't think people truly understand what that means. This text not only gives you the history of Palestine but shows you exactly how zionists have(are) rewritten it to favor themselves.

I (wrongly) assumed this would give me knowledge about the ancient history of Palestine. However it is mainly a history of the name Palestine as opposed to a cultural history. It is incredibly well researched but challenging to read as it reads like an academic essay. Despite this I recommend for anyone who believes that the name Palestine is a relatively modern or Israeli given name.
