Logan and Rosemary are such raw and real characters and I could feel their feelings. I was so drawn in with their story and never wanted to leave their minds. Both of them had such wonderful developments. Alison Cochrun truly shines with character growth.

Joe..... oh, Joe. His story was such a beautiful and important one to tell. His relationships with Rosemary and Logan were so real and heartwarming. The amount of love he gave those two girls is so precious.

Rating: 5/5 - this book was incredible but I will never read it again

I enjoyed the enimies to lovers and second chance romance, as well as the themes around chosen family, grief and neurodiversity. Also a delightful plot pace.

perfect to read during a heat wave so your tears can cool you down

This was such a good book! It was a beautiful story of love, loss, grief, regret, adventure, and second chances.

I loved the summer road-trip elements. Reading this in June felt so perfect. It made me want to go on a road trip. Also a great read during Pride Month. This book is full of queer joy. It had good humor. The characters were excellent! Loved Joe and Remy's relationship. I also liked how it ended, despite being sad.

The only reason this is getting a 4.5 instead of 5 star is because of the romance between Logan and Rosemary. I wasn't fully sold on it. I liked them as individuals, but wasn't swooning over them as a couple.

Overall though this book was excellent. I laughed, I cried. I was inspired and entertained. Will definitely read more from this author. Great book!

I came for a sapphic roadtrip second-chance romance, but I found a delightful, touching, heartbreaking, laugh-out-loud story about queer chosen family. I loved everything about it and I think I have a new favourite author.
