Oh, man. Such a good ending to an amazing series, but I wish I could get a really brief sequel.

Oh god, this is so awful! What a dumb book. It is basically a boring action movie with a lot of screaming, running, last-second-rescues, more running and sreaming, getting eaten, screaming, running, and shooting. On top totally needless flashbacks (we know all this already or assumed it, it's boring!) and the love stories....yes, Crouch thought it'd be wise to weasle very unconvincing love triangles (multiple!) into the story. And the premise, of course, still doesn't make sense, at all.
Do yourself a favor: read "Pines" and leave it at that.
