I was so eager to see how the events unfolded that I read both the 2nd and final books in the same day. 
I feel like this book wrapped up the trilogy nicely. There was a lot of action, a lot of surprises and some very satisfying moments as well. If the author ever decided to add to the trilogy, I would be one of the first to buy the book.

The second book was hit or miss, but this series ended on a fantastic third book. I'm hoping that Crouch revisits Wayward Pines for a fourth book.

I liked the first two books a lot more. I was enjoying the main story, but could not care for the silly side plots that were randomly introduced in this installment. It kind of felt like the author wanted to be done with this story and wrapped it up super quickly. Also weak ah epilogue.
