This is book 16 this month/year I have completed by this author. NEVER have I had an author hit me in the emotions for so many books (one even made me bawl).

This series (this far starting Royal Flush next) is amazing. She sucked me in with the stories and characters and boy were my heart strings tugging. Multiple times my heart was racing and I am shouting “no. no. noooo” but in the best way. I went to bed thinking about these characters (same happened for all the other books too) and I would wake up NEEDING to know what happened next.

100/10 recommend this series and ALL her others. She is my absolute favorite author and I have no idea what I am going to do once I have completed reading all her books.

For this being the last book of this series it was great! I loved it. I've come to love these characters alot! I renewed my love for mafia books. It was so much fun seeing past characters and their loves. But i also loved seeing Jack and seeing how his life unfolded. And i couldnt have pick a better future for him. Bianca was great. I loved how Jack showed her that she didnt need to hide her true self from him. He was exactly who she needed. And she for him. But im just saying im going to need a novella or newsletter story to see them in the future. Im not ready to say full goodbyes yet.

I didn’t like this one. Jake’s character had no resemblance with the one we where shown in the other books, especially in the first one. He was a complete asshole, who shamed Bianca for everything she did. Especially the sex worker shaming was WAY over the top and just not okay. His apology was weakly written and I didn’t believe him shit. And the pregnancy at the end - why? Felt rushed and unnecessary (but I don’t like the pregnancy trope in general). But I really liked the other books in the series though and Kelsie Rae’s books in general. Otherwise I wouldn’t have read 8 books by her in 6 days. But this one wasn’t for me. I really liked Jake in Ace’s & King’s book and was excited for his story, but meh.

Ugh. I loved Jack in all the other books but he said some shitty things and I side eyed him a lot in this. She definitely forgave him way too fast.
