Ok this has been my least favorite so far in the series even though I did still thoroughly enjoy it, because I really missed Eric/Montana and their interactions. I feel like I wanted more “today” Eric and less 1000 years ago Eric haha. But… I’m excited about where this book left off!

Great continuation of the story! I really like getting the 1000 years ago perspectives from Magnar and Eric. They really add good backstory detail for us as the reader. Personally I didn’t enjoy the Fabian part of this story, he seemed like a whole different character and I didn’t like it very much.
I will say, why to they ‘breathe’ everything? Is that a whisper? A quiet talking? And why do they do it all the time in all different situations?

Strong female leads.
Callie and Montana are such strong female leads. I love them individualy and their relationship. The couples were a little insta lovey for my taste but it doesnt take away from thw quality of the story.

liked this whole series but this many books was too much in my opinion.
