I skim read this book. It could have been shortened and combined with book 3.
I’m going to read book 5 but I hope it picks up.

4.5 Stars
Minus half a star due to the men being idiots and not listening to the women. Still a fun ride, though!

I'm addicted to this series and have been waiting oh so eagerly for Wrathful Mortals. I love the throwbacks to the past as they give a little more insight and depth to the story. Montana and Callie's journey is full of ups and downs once again but you know they are leading up to something epic. The last 25% of this book was an explosion of crazy. I love a damn good cliffhanger and boy, that's what we got. So glad we don't have to wait long to see what happens next.
Hateful gods
Our protagonists are caught in a game between the gods, Idun and Advari. Poor Callie and Montana, all they ever wanted was freedom and now they are smack bang playing games with the gods. I feel sorry for the vampires too, tricked into being monsters, Erik a very reluctant participant.
This book has major Romeo and Juliet vibes, hopefully it ends better eventually but the twisted sisters will crush our hearts first.
Will solving the prophecy save everyone, who know in this cruel game. After that startling ending eager to see the next moves in this amazing series.
