Jöelle Jones and Jordie Bellaire are two of my most favorite comic creators, so I was looking forward to this series. This book had me until the last five pages. Maybe the conclusion will redeem?

Better than the other Wonder Woman title in the Future State.

Oh my god I love this so much, it was a nightmare getting it after preordering in November, it selling out without the store keeping my preorder, another store ignoring and having to spend triple to get one from ebay then waiting an extra week? Nightmare but worth it all! Yara is an angry legend who I absolutely love! Breaking a turnstile because it wouldn't move and fighting dead people waiting to go on to their afterlife made me laugh!

The artwork is gorgeous but Joelle's art always is and I just can't wait for the next issue!

Not as good as the first issue but still decent! The design for Hades and Persephone was amazing and I hope those designs stick around in the future. Yara is just an amazing character and I'm so excited for her Wonder Girl book!

That was beautiful, chaotic and fun! Joelle Jones killed it! I’m also happy to see some Guarani mythos being referenced in a not terrible way!
None of this felt even close to a Wonder Woman book in tone or substance but it was fun and new and I like these characters and this world.

An Orpheus retelling sandwiched between racist commentary/interpretation and imagery.

I love Yara Flor, the Brazilian Wonder Woman! I also love how this book intertwines Greek and Brazilian mythology. And also a very fun read! Easily the best book to come out of Future State!
