The book kept me on the edge of my toes as I couldn't figure out the twists that happened. Besides being a little on the slow-medium pace side, I enjoyed it even if it took me forever to finish it. One scene broke my heart and I had to have a moment to recover.

first book i’ve finished in one sitting in years, meant to only read one chapter before bed and got completely hooked. was enjoyable and tense and didn’t give too much away too soon. only thing was some character interactions could have had a lot more emotion behind them especially with the situations they’re in. overall amazing :)

Whenever I saw this new release, I knew I needed to read it. I didn't know a ton about what it was about because once I heard people were trapped in an abandoned amusement park, I was in. I've seen many reviewers giving this a low rating or DNFing it and I don't understand. I loved it. It's dark, creepy, exciting, and really interesting commentary on our society. Definitely recommend for those interested in horror with societal themes.
