Satisfying ending to the series. Love the Epilogues epilogue
adventurous lighthearted medium-paced

I enjoyed the story, but prefer female leads. Nevertheless it’s a great series and I enjoyed meeting characters from other series again.

Yanko is my precious baby boy and I shall hear no slander against him. The only way to make this book even more perfect would be a series of one shots of all the adults plotting behind Yanko's back.

This series is severely underrated. There's a ton of action, great characters, hilarious banter and more. Cannot recommend this enough.

Very satisfying conclusion. I love that Yanko White Fox is not a traditional fantasy hero. He's gentle and kind and a little clumsy, but hella powerful. He'll be a great leader.

Great end to the series

I've thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Dak better in this series, and meeting Yanko & Co. The end of the series was everything I wanted it to be, and the bonus Epilogue of the Epilogue was the icing on the cake.

I had to think for a period of time before I realized how I should rate this book. I think at first I was bothered by Yanko's naivete, but in the end, it was his optimism that won me over. I want to be the type of person who is kind and generous and the type of friend that Yanko was.

It's still pretty ridiculous what happened to him in the end. I'm trying to stay spoiler-free, but I'm willing to overlook that and buy into the promise of what he offered with his character and the experience that he earned due to events that were thrust on him.

There's also something I always enjoy about Lindsy's writing, which is usually found in the dialog and the quirks and adventures that the characters share. Many of her other characters are also optimists and their struggle with encountering horror in the world and their ability to keep their optimism always makes me feel good. It's the nuance in life that makes it interesting sometimes and those we come to love that makes it worth it.
