2022 review
I'm still frustrated with Satsuki in general because he always makes everything a joke. He's as confused and conflicted with the situation as Yosano is (as he should be, ugh), but the way he handles it isn't with maturity, it's this back and forth "I like you," and "just kidding."

if he were a couple years older than Yosano, I'd still find this really annoying, but the fact that he's so much older than her, he should know better. And yet, this frustration with him is the author's entire point to slowly get readers off the idea of Satsuki and onto whoever Yosano will be with next. I think even though the author dances around the teacher-student relationship trope (ick), they still acknowledge its forbidden element and in the end, the author knows they're not actually going to go there.

I love sensei (Satsuki) but I also
HHATE HIMMM!

I hate guys and anyone in general who feel they have the right to make decisions for others. Stop lying to Suzume. That's why you just don't deserve her because you're not honest with her and you're not honest with yourself.

As the main character continues to feel confused as to where she lies in her teacher's life, she finally receives the answer that he feels the same way she does as a Daytime Shooting Star. I feel bad for her desperately, cause she feels like he simply cares for her because he's a caring teacher over a caring boyfriend / potential boyfriend. I don't blame her at all, he's constantly jumping back and forth.

If I read any more of the story it will be a bit of a hate read cause I can't get into this story. Shishio is 25. I am younger than that and wouldn't consider liking a high schooler. Much less one I teach and am in an authoritative position over. He knows its wrong and goes out of his way in a tanuki costume to hang out with her. The wrongness of it isn't explored enough in this series. Teenage love is dumb and confusing and this represents it, but it's not mentioning the taboo-ness of this at all at this point.

Short Story: Cookie Girl, Cream Boy.
First off what a title. Hilarious. I didn't like how much it emphasized his skin being fair. I know that beauty standards in Japan lean that way, but I wish they didn't and I wish it wasn't emphasized so much in this story.

por favor díganme que el hecho de que Mamura esté en la portada del siguiente volumen significa que va a haber menos momentos entre la prota y el profe because I can't take much more of them together without vomitar

3 de 5 estrellas.
