This trilogy was concluded so well, overall. I agree with some of the other reviews that this one was slightly more convoluted than the other two but all of my questions were answered satisfyingly. So, for the ending of an excellent trilogy, I give it full stars. There is so much wisdom within these pages, I am genuinely grateful to have read these books.

A near perfect end to a perfect trilogy. The arcs are all tied in nice little bows, everything you want to happen happens, even if it isn't the WAY you wanted it. I've got two gripes, one of the romances I'm not a fan of, and there is a change in the Rain Wilder's appearance that goes unmentioned by anyone. (MINOR SPOILER) They go from being described as lumpy, with bulbs of flesh, and that's completely gone now, they are said to be scaly. This goes unmentioned and unnoticed, and I've heard it is discussed in a future trilogy, but without an explanation it seems like sloppy retconning.

I wish I could give this a 6/5. I truly cherish these character. I can believe the journey we have gone on together. Incredible conclusions to an incredible series. I loved Farseer Trilogy but Liveships offered even more. Cannot wait to continue but I am sad leaving Althea, Malta and co. behind. Top 3 series for sure.
