Every time that I finish an outlander book I feel like it becomes my favorite in the series, and an Echo in the Bone is no different. There's so much that went on in the story, and I can't even keep track. There's one particular twist that completely blew my mind. I couldn't just be done with reading, so I had to instantly go into book 8 at 2 in the morning.

I'm sooooo sad that this is the last book. I miss the characters already! I will say that I had the hardest time with the first 1/4 of the book. getting into it. There was so many new characters and story lines and a lot of details. But still really really good. Can't wait til the next one is out!

It's books like these that make me hate series. It's books like these that make me thing the author is finally having trouble getting the next book contract signed and so has to end it in a train wreck so that we will want to read the next book. I really, really hate that.

Other than the ending, it wasn't bad.
