I thought that in many ways this was better than the 1st book in the series. I would pick this one up before Rhode Island Red for sure. They mystery wasn’t constructed in the best way but the characters are very vivid and once again this book is filled with culture and wonderful language. I would give the mystery itself a 2 but loved the culture and characters so I ended on a 3.
