Taking a closer look at the cover, my first thought was “wow that’s porn.” (yes, because the title was not enough), but then the fact that it looked like a fairy tale twist and some reviews on Goodreads argued it was a fun and light book, made me take a shot (even though I promised myself, no more erotic books!).

The beginning does sound like a porn movie, Miranda, a cute bunny, meets her neighbour, a gorgeous, yet grumpy bear, Chase (oh yes, all puns intended here). She starts flirting with him and yet he refuses any type of physical contact, because she’s a bunny and he’s a bear (even though the hardon in his pants say otherwise). So this is the part where they digress from the porn film script and the action starts. Mr. Grumpy and miss cute bunny go to work. While at work, Chaser keeps thinking about Miranda sexually, but constantly tries to shut his ideas, because she is a bunny and bears don’t mix up with other species.

The plot swirls around the two main characters and even though Miranda has a great personality and her energy is contagious, the villain deserved more space to show his really true colours and that’s what I am hoping to see developed on the following books: more about the villain and really, you know villain stuff that is not kidnaping.

Ok. For being completely and totally ridiculous, if you're looking for a book that is cheesy, with a saber-tooth bunny rabbit, and some very corny lines and twists on cliches, then you'll definitely want to read this. Aside from the cringe-worthy way it was written, I will admit that it is fun for what it is. Just don't expect this story to be anything but what it is: a sex romp between two shifters, with really bad cliches. Its a sex story. Plain and simple

Ok, it's hard to say what i feel about this book. It's definatly a light easy erotic comedy. Some of the names and puns were very entertaining, i've certainly never heard of that part of the anatomy being described as a pie before. The book does not take itse;f seriously which is a very good thing. There is sex scenes here and there but apart from odd bits of foreplay they mostly take place well after the second half. Hoever if it wasn't for the sex scenes i'd have thought i was reading a book written by someone in their teens as far as the story goes. The villain is a diminituative shifter (whos clan is never mentioned) holding a grudge because of how he was treated in school. The charactures have a instant attraction that develops into disney style (plus sex) love, and the male is moody, unsocial and rather snappy; while the 'bunny' is chipry and bubbly with a buffy the vampire slayer/kim possible kind of secret. It just reminds of somethingyou'd find from the mind of a child which is why it works great for a comody.

Anyone with knowledge of animals should not read as most of the shifters don't show any of the traits tyipical in their animal counter parts, except some maddening sterio types

I absolutely love this book is hilarious. The bunny Miranda is a bubbly happy bouncy rabbit that see's everything as a glass half full but when she moves in next to a grumpy old bear that is antisocial and half glass empty guy they couldn't be more different. Miranda is a FUC agent that protects were-animals of every caste. Miranda has to protect Chase and try not to jump him in the process.
Chase is a werebear and lawyer so very serious especially about sleep which is interrupted by a annoying bunny.
Chase never thought he'd be attracted to a woodland creature, especially a blonde bouncing bunny.
This book is full of action, hilarious moments and amazing characters u absolutely love.
Great HEA for Miranda and Chase.

Cute, quick PNR between a bunny shifter who is an undercover agent protecting a grizzly bear. It was funny, wish it was longer.

Oh and it’s smutty.

Good if you’re in the mood for a quick read.

~ 4 Bunny Pie Stars ~

Bunny and the Bear is book one in the Furry United Coalition by Eve Langlais. We get lots of humor, great witty comments, action and one grumpy bear.

I should have picked up [a:Eve Langlais|3431194|Eve Langlais|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1403606254p2/3431194.jpg], so much sooner then this. I’ve had her books on my TBR and she is right up their with [a:Shelly Laurenston|65137|Shelly Laurenston|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1303073485p2/65137.jpg] in creating great, interesting, unique characters and humor to boot. I was smiling, laughing, and giggling all throughout this book.

Miranda, our Bunny shifter. Yep they do exist, is so bubbly, but not ditzy bubbly, smart bubbly. She reminding me of my friend Katie growing up. All that energy and enthusiasm for life and its situations. I just loved her. Chase, our Bear shifter, and all around grumpy bear is set in his ways. He is just dyeing to have someone come along and upset his perfectly normal life. It was so much fun watching these two try to resist and drive each other nuts along the way all while trying to avoid the bad guys out to steal some shifters on a list. And yes we get some very HAWT sexy times.

Bunny and the Bear has a great mix of sexual tension, humor, erotic sex, action and witty dialogue. This is a great to seat to this series and I’m looking forward to reading more.

"An unknown amount of opposition, a labyrinth of passages, and a trigger-happy reptile. What fun."

I'm gonna start off with a small rant, okay? There are so many reviewers who rated this book low because it's not a "realistic" depiction of characters or romance.

This is the tagline:: "What's a poor bear to do when all he wants is some sweet, bunny pie?
This immediately tells me two things: 1. This is a fantasy world in which people can turn into bears and bunnies. 2. There will be a lot of sex.

The fact that anyone is disappointed at all blows my mind. The blurb clearly tells you what you are getting into and the author supplies a story with shifters having lots of sex and SURPRISE: a sub-plot involving a mad scientist. It's meant to be goofy entertainment, you guys... In that aspect, it totally delivers.
