4.5 I literally lol’d throughout the book which does not happen often. Intrigued by the Agitators and looking forward to getting to know the other "brothers" in the next books.
Small Spoiler: Agree with other commenters-

Knocked it down .5 because the supposed inexperience of the FMC does not match the amazing BJs she gives right out of the gate. It was hot but not in line with the story and character development.

I started listening to this on audio earlier at the gym and when I tell you it physically pained me to put it down to do anything else I'm not entirely overreacting. From the banter, the near instant friendship, how Pacey takes his time with Winnie, after after their separation. Almost every side character instantly stole my heart and I wouldn't mind if we got a few more stories from this little cluster. Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin were incredible on narration duty and they really added to the personality and the banter for sure. The narration got an extra half star just on it's own. This will for sure be added to my re-read rotation. I volunteered to listen and read an advance copy of this. All opinions are my own.

Mixed reviews on this one. I’m still getting over my Onyx Storm hangover and knew a lighthearted, spicy, cute Meghan Quinn book would do the trick. I love, LOVE a forced proximity trope and this one fit perfectly.
My gripes:
Winnie is an annoying FMC. I did not find her charming or endearing or cute. But…as the book went on I was able to get past this…kinda.
My biggest issue with the story is the third act breakup. This is a romance book so, of course, I knew it was coming, but I GASPED OUT LOUD TO MYSELF at Pacey saying “don’t flatter yourself”…I just cannot. The level of Pacey’s anger, control, dominance, possessiveness, jealousy after Winnie returns from the grocery store was scary, inappropriate, and borderline unforgivable. I was proud of Winnie for physically leaving that situation. I was shocked by the turn in Pacey. While the situation was intense and serious, it did not call for his level of reaction. I feel like the book lost me here because I was just so upset with Pacey’s change. The ending was made worse with Winnie apologizing to Pacey. Like girllllll you did nothing wrong!
Overall not a terrible book. I just have a lot of feelings about the fight that I’m not sure how to get over. The end.

I have to start by saying that I read these out of order, and while this one wasn’t my favorite of the series, they truly get better as they go! That being said, I still had a great time with these characters—plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and just the right amount of spice to keep things fun.
