A classic from Poe for those who love tales of vengeance and elaborate schemes, the protagonist, the titular Hop-Frog, is an extremely relatable and entertaining figure making the ending all the more satisfying when he gets his revenge.

Watched The Fall of the House of Usher so read this cause every episode is based on an Edgar Allan Poe story but turns out none of them are based on this story. Good for Hop-Frog and Trippetta though.

Read for Love and Hate in the American South. Poe is high-key underrated ??? This story is very good and no one reads it ???
