Sometimes I feel embarrassed by how much I love this book. It's not sophisticated, it's not educational, but it is lyrical. The truth is that I love a good love story and this is a good love story... and in my world it gets bonus points for being set in Hawaii giving a nod to red heads, respecting the moon and being generally weird and delicious. It's definitely kitschy in a Tom Robbins sort of way and you just have to know that going in. It's his signature style, but it's my favorite of his titles - yep, better than Jitterbug and Cowgirl by far.

Tom Robbins's stories are full of whimsy. This detailed tangent takes you on an adventure through the pyramids to where love is.
Tom Robbins is one of my favorite authors. If you've ever wanted to know the problem with fiery redheads...this book is for you! Crazy but side splittingly funny I enjoyed this book immensely. I highly recommend it!
