Not only does this series keep getting better, it grows increasingly more addictive! This episode manages to ratchet up the steamy sexy times while slowly revealing pieces of Frankie’s and Derek’s past. It is especially gratifying given that the last installment, although enjoyable, was heavy on the sex and light on substance. Frankie and Derek decide they want more than a one-night stand, and with Derek completely clueless as to what a relationship entails there are some bumps along the way.

Both main characters appeal to me. Derek is this dominant alpha male but he occasionally submits to Frankie (which somehow makes him sexier) and begins to open up to her. He also has a humorous side. His interactions with Will are particularly funny. Is he capable of picking out a gift on his own?? There seems to be a dichotomy between the highly sexual Frankie we see now and the career driven woman we met in episode one that I find fascinating. The secondary characters are also highly enjoyable and do a good job propelling the plot. I can see a couple of them having spin-offs of their own.

Marni Mann’s writing is flawless and although I’m not a huge fan of serials I’m hooked. She certainly knows how to write a jaw-dropping cliffhanger and this book is no exception. Bring on the next installment!

Boy does Derek like to take trips down under...mutiple times. Frankie is one lucky girl! She did however bug me a wee bit in this episode. Give a guy a break because he got hung up and didn't call you right away. I didn't see you picking up your phone calling him to see where is fine flannel ass was. He made up for it though, backdoor style. Haaay-ohhh!

In this installment we begin to find out more about Derek's past and why he and Hayden have a a serious issue with Randy White. Derek and Frankie are getting more serious and the story is getting more interesting.

The more we get from Derek and Frankie, the more we need a cold shower; of that I am convinced.

Unblocked Episode Three begins with Derek and Frankie agreeing to no longer see each other on a physical level. Their relationship needs to stay strictly professional moving forward. There's a problem, though. They can't stop thinking about each other.

Derek and Frankie decide to move forward both professionally and physically but the plot is finally coming into play. Frankie's father has given her the keys to his kingdom and Derek's issues with an old acquaintance are starting to come to fruition.

Episode three is leaving us on another cliffy to prep for what's going to happen in Four and Five. I really love the way Marni writes these books. For me personally, it's the perfect blend of story and steam; lots of steam with more story coming into play. I can't wait to read what happens next!

This episode picks up right where we left off in the last; Frankie is running away from the woman walking out of Derek’s townhouse. She has no idea who she is and doesn’t want to know, she just wants to run.

This book was just as HOT as the previous two and showed Derek’s dominant side. He was especially jealous when Reed showed up one morning at Frankie’s house, the sparks were flying!!

Being that this is a five part series, we are left with Frankie making a decision that will change her future, but we do not know what that is. Derek is faced with threats about Frankie. And so many surprising secrets are revealed that will blow your brain up!!

I absolutely love the short miniseries. This is one that I am happy that I have checked out and Marni Mann has hit it right on!! I am looking forward to the next two installments.

Frankie and Derek are complex characters that Marni Mann expertly weaves into the "Unblocked Collection". Before you know it, you will fall in love with both of these characters. You will want more. You will be pissed when you realize the series is over. I fell in love with Derek from the first few chapters of this series. He is rugged, handsome and ruthless which makes him the ultimate bad boy. And what woman doesn't love a good bad boy? Frankie is excited to rise to the top of her fathers real estate and prove herself to him which is why she originally meets Derek .She goes to interview with him to sell his latest luxury building. As one of the top real estate agents in the city, Frankie can go anywhere but she knows if she is able to land this job, her father will believe she is ready for more responsibility. But soon Frankie realizes that landing this account, might not be the best thing for her career as she finds it difficult to work with her loins hot and bothered whenever Derek is near.

The reason I gravitate towards Marni's books is her writing is superb. She makes you feel her stories on another level from your "typical erotic" genre. Her characters are "real, emotional and loved" by the first few pages. Marni has a knack for the emotional driven plolt and her writing is not for the faint of heart. You will feel real emotions, raw feelings and full on love for her story. That is what makes her great!
