Absolutely loved this one, possibly more than th first two. I love stories about enemies working together, especially when the meaner one doesn’t completely change and is still a little rude and ambitious. All the characters in this series are great, I love Goldie and her girlfriend, and I just love this series a lot.

This series is getting better and better for me. The depiction of smart, strong and sassy women makes me so, so happy. So glad I already picked up the 4th volume from the library.

Review

As this graphic novel was only 95 pages this will be a short review. In the third volume of Goldie Vance, we follow along as Sugar asks Goldie to help her figure out who is sabotaging her during races. I’m honestly really loving making my way through this series, the volumes are super fun to read. So, this volume focused quite a bit on racing and as a motorsport fan, I found the plot really enjoyable. Once again my favourite aspect of this was the characters, Goldie is such a fun and determined character and I have to say I also liked the development of Sugar’s character throughout this volume. The art style changed a little in this and while I like it, I do prefer the old art style.

Overall this was a fun YA Graphic novel with an entertaining plot and some interesting character development.
