I had a really good time with this book. After seeing mixed reviews I was quite anxious to read it. But I’m happy I did.
I enjoyed that there were elves and fae and it was enjoyable to see how different they both were! I liked how the characters were developed and the development between them. I also really enjoyed the plot! The plot was so intriguing and if had me enticed the whole time whilst reading it. Especially after the 60% mark I was just hooked and didn’t want to put it down!

I love Yeeran, she’s very fierce and I just loved her. I definitely felt like I could relate to Lettle more, she comes across as quite stubborn and she tells you how it is very bluntly which is just fantastic. I wasn’t sure about Lettle at first but she’s definitely grew on me. I also like Rayan, he was a great character. Furi I didn’t like at first at all but by the end I actually really ended up liking her a lot.

I did see parts of the ending coming but some of them I didn’t and I was shook! That was a fantastic ending to a book!

So original, I really liked the world she created. Maybe so much that it shouldn't have gone for the romatasy, it could hold its own just as well or even better as a straight up fantasy.

I liked the book but honestly I didn’t feel attached to the characters, anything could have happened and my reaction would have been “meh, ok, let’s move on”.

I think part three of the book is the best 🫶🏻 and it’s the reason my rating is 4 instead of 3/3.5
