would have had 4 stars if the climax wasn't super rushed
This was my first Patricia Briggs book (cue: werewolves, shifters, vampires, oh my!) and it was entertaining, especially because it was set in the Tri-Cities. Coyote v. werewolves in Kennewick. Love it!
is there any point in doing a review everything has been said. I have another series I think I am gonna love.

Bonne lecture. Pas trop long, se lit bien, bonne intrigue. J'aurais aimé un peu plus de romance, mais j'imagine que le prochain tome va tomber un peu plus dans mes cordes à ce niveau.
I’ve read and re-read this book so many times I can’t keep track! It never fails to brighten my day. The story is intriguing, the characters are interesting and flawed, all with different motivations, and I love Mercy and her attitude. There are good laughs, great action, and world-building that makes you want to read the whole series again! Love it

This book reminded me how much I love urban fantasy/paranormal books WITHOUT romance. I love that the heroine was able to kick ass without needing a man by her side. Sure, there were still male characters, and there were implications of past and future relationships, but that wasn't a focus and barely even a side plot in this one.
The only thing that stopped me from rating this 5 stars was that sometimes it felt like there were so many characters and so many types of paranormal beings that sometimes it felt like too much for such a short book.

The writing was horrible and too much info dumping
